Skin and STD

That`s the postings i have right now, i am supposed to have anyway, but as the PGs have their exams going on, i don`t think it will start until friday atleast(more likely monday as thursday and saturday are holidays). that reminds me, saturday is the d-day,elections, its the first time i will be voting!

The boy in the photo(photo is not mine, though i suffer from the same condition) has a skin disease called acne vulgaris. i have been suffering from this condition since 6-7 years, with exacerbations and (not exactly) remissions. i have been put on isotretinoin treatment since almost 2 months now and the pimples have cleared up(at long last!!!!!). its a 3 month course and lets see how long this remission lasts!

The drug itself is a retinoid(a vit a analogue), has a page full of side effects! is prescribed only as a last resort in cases untreatable by other drugs and means(like mine).

luckily i dont have it!!:)...[once had gone to buy those tablets to prady and the shop owner had asked whether u know any preg lady...was shocked..then he told that retinoin is C.I in pregnancy so asked]:D

hmmm... so pradyumna is also on isotretinoin? pimples cleared up?

@brocas.... do u mean the title and description? i accept that the title and description were inspired by your blog but i am definitely not copying here, this needed some cretive thinking and referring my old books man!

Married man!

Yup, that's what I've been for more than an year now. It also has been more than that since I've posted here. Marriage might be one of the reasons!     Done with comprehensive ophthalmology fellowship at Dr Solanki Eye Hospital.... Currently, I am working in Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. Those are the significant updates in the past year or so.      Happy New Year😃

12 years of blogging!

It has been more than 12 years since my first post on this blog! More than 10 years since I seriously started blogging. And more than 3 years since my last post on this blog. Time seriously flies! I was just going through my previous posts, most of them from the year 2008. It was as if my life was playing out in front of my eyes. Lots of fond memories, few frustrations....
